“This is very distressing news about Jim McGrane's passing. He was truly one of the ‘good guys’ of our industry in every respect ... both as a person and leader in our industry. His cheerful enthusiasm, sincerity, knowledge and dedication will be sorely missed. It serves as a harsh reminder that we have to cherish each day.  It is very sad news. I'll miss him.”

I see by your announcement that this individual who passed probably had Amyloidosis. A very close friend of mine was taken by this rare and cruel disease. Most MD's are unable to accurately diagnose, let alone treat this malady.

My hats off to you. You really go above and beyond in bringing recognition to those within your industry that are deserving with very special and classy tributes. Thanks again for your efforts and information.

Sincerely,
Steve Brooks
