Credit Analyst

The Pacific Capital Companies, LLC is seeking a Credit Analyst to underwrite small ticket applications up to $250,000 in a fast paced and high volume environment. Candidate will make independent decisions on commercial credit applications of end user types. He or she will also evaluate business and personal credit reports, financial statements and other credit information.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Analyze financial information regarding new credit applications
• Examine transaction documents and spreadsheets
• Make independent business credit decisions
• Communicate with various departments as needed
• Review and approve Vendors and collateral

Qualifications and Education:

• Available on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administrator, or Finance preferred
  
• Two (2) years of credit analysis or related experience
  
• Solid understanding of Dun and Bradstreet reports and Credit Bureau Reports
• Working knowledge of financial statement analysis is a plus
