#### Extra ##########################

A reader requested Leasing News send this out as they state their brokers are confused and read the following story as a list of companies no longer doing broker business. They state brokers are calling to find out if it is true they are no longer accepting broker business.

"Why the hell do you have *****on your list of funders "no longer working with brokers"? This is completely false and irresponsible reporting. Come on! We have not changed our delivery model at all. The only thing we have done that affects our customers is tighten up areas of our program that are indicating higher risk in this market. Can you please correct this erroneous reporting? Thank you. Call me with any questions."

""(Please make a) clarification and I KNOW your readers will appreciate it. They are extremely nervous that they are losing access to capital through sources like us. I hear it every day. Any rumour runs like wild fire and any confusion that an article might create gets blown out of proportion as well. One has to be very careful and edit with this sensitivity in mind. Thanks."

This is not a list of companies no longer working with brokers, but "The List" that Leasing News has been doing since 2000, usually every quarter. It has "The List" logo and will be up-dated in http://www.leasingnews.org/lis t.htm January, 2009 List http://www.leasingnews.org/#list

The story opens with the icon for " The List " and then states:

The list of companies no longer working with brokers was so highly received, covering 2008, Leasing News is going to go back to reporting the monthly "The List" additions and changes...

(Chronological with the oldest in the month at the bottom. The links are from the "Alphabetical List" by company name with its history.)

Again, this is the January "The List," not a list of companies no longer working with brokers.

-----

Here is the current list of companies not doing business with brokers, with two new additions, the latest:

"Thank you for your interest in ENL. At this time we have suspended enrollment to new brokers. We do not expect this to be a permanent change but I do not have a time frame on when enrollment will begin again. I will keep your contact information on file and when this does open up I will send you our information.

"I apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to working with you in the future.

"Sincerely,
"Veronica
