Carole Silvoy sends the following update: “I had two
milestones this past year. In September of 2001 I became certified as a
sign language interpreter, NAD level IV. After being one of 17 people from
around the United States and Canada selected for a special program through
the Theatre Development Fund in New York City, in June 2002 I spent a week
studying at The Juilliard School. The intensive program ‘Interpreting for
the Theatre’ focuses on translation and performance skills in making
theater accessible to deaf audiences. This is a great blending of my
theatrical and interpreting work, which I put to use at the Pennsylvania
Shakespeare Festival doing an American Sign Language-interpreted
performance of ‘Henry V.’ Still based in the Lehigh Valley, I continue to
work as a freelance artist through my business VoiceSigns.” Alexander L. Wolf sends the following update:

Jenifer recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, “but it will
be a few years before kids.” |
