Jack Gallagher
, one of the original employees of Lease Team, now LTi Technology, Omaha, Nebraska,
is now retiring after 31 years, 11 months (1994 - Present).  He is also located in Omaha, Nebraska. Asked for a comment, he wrote, “I started at LTi in the summer of 1994 as the controller. I did the GL, Payroll, AR-Invoice Billings, PSA billings, Payables, & Collections. Most of these processes are now automated – Thank God.

"A couple of years later, I was asked by LTi to move into the customer support department and accepted that position. I hired David Briggs (a great accountant-CPA) as the new accountant to replace me. Through all those years, I worked with the LeasePlus legacy program and, for a couple of years I did some ASPIRE v 4 custom work and over the past 2 years, I did a few ASPIRE v 5 custom designs.

"One of my most memorable and proudest periods at LTi was back in the 1990’s when LTi would be listed as the one of the 25 fastest growing companies in Nebraska or maybe it was the Omaha area. They made that list 2 or 3 years in a row. This all took place for me, starting from the summer of 1994 through today.

"I greatly appreciate LTi for giving me a job and the ability to grow and the all the memories and great people I met along the way.

"I will never forget LTi."

Talent Exists in the Finance and Leasing Business
By Scott Wheeler. CLFP
Part 1

The commercial equipment finance and leasing industry is rich with talent. It is built on the backs of good, honest, hard-working professionals—individuals who show up every day ready to deliver exceptional service to businesses across the country.

Yet, despite this abundance of capability, many professionals find themselves displaced. Rapid industry changes—driven by technology, evolving client expectations, and shifting market dynamics—have left too many in the wrong seats, underutilized, and unable to deliver their full value to employers and stakeholders.

This isn’t a reflection of individual shortcomings. It’s a structural challenge. Organizations must take a hard look at their teams and ask:

  • Are we aligning talent with strategic priorities?
  • Are we equipping professionals with the tools and training to thrive in today’s environment?
  • Are we measuring value based on legacy metrics—or on the evolving needs of the business?

### Press Release ########################

NEFA Raises $37,750 for CWEF and Can-Do Canines
at Fall Conference Charity Event

The National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA) announced that its 2025 Fall Conference charity event raised a record-breaking $37,750 in support of the Chris Walker Education Fund (CWEF) and Can-Do Canines.

Hosted by the NEFA Foundation, the event combined service and networking to bring members together for a meaningful cause. Attendees spent the first hour packing supply kits for Can-Do Canines, followed by an evening of food, drinks, and connection, all in support of CWEF and Can-Do Canines.

Dave Gruber, Chair of the NEFA Foundation Committee and Vice President at Great American Insurance Group, said “The NEFA Fall Charity event was one of our most successful events to date with record attendance and an all-time high in financial support.’

“The Committee made it a goal to make this our best event ever, and we succeeded! Supporting Can-Do Canines not only brings our industry together for a great cause but also helps empower individuals with greater independence and confidence through the life-changing work these service dogs provide. It’s inspiring to see how our collective efforts can make such a lasting impact.”

This year’s charity event was made possible through the generous support of Channel, the event sponsor, along with the dedication and enthusiasm of NEFA members and attendees who continue to champion meaningful causes through NEFA Foundation’s initiatives.

H. Krollfeifer, Jr.
August 10, 1939 - October 15, 2025

Krollfeifer passed away on October 15th, 2025 at his home in Hainesport, New Jersey surrounded by loved ones. He was 86 years old. Howard retired in 1999 as a Senior Vice President with Copelco Capital

H. (also known as Howard), was born on August 10, 1939. He grew up in Rutherford, New Jersey with his parents Viola (Preston) and Henrey J. Krollfeifer, Sr. and sister Gail (Klopher). In his youth, he enjoyed playing soccer for Rutherford High School, which began a lifelong love of the sport.

In 1961, Howard graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance (Economics) and Accounting. He later earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Blackstone School of Law. Howard served six years in the United States Army Reserves, beginning in July 1962. He was honorably discharged in 1968 at the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his career, Howard moved around the country for 25 years before settling back in his home state of New Jersey.

His working experience began at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a senior staff auditor. He was active in the leasing and financing industry since 1964, when he joined Talcott National Corporation and U.S. Leasing Corporation a few years later. Howard worked at the Senior Vice President level for Equitable Life Leasing Corporation (ELLCO), Fleet Credit Corporation, and AT&T Commercial Finance Corporation, demonstrating outstanding leadership as he found ways to develop, implement, and enhance initiatives within each company.

Howard retired in 1999 as a Senior Vice President with Copelco Capital, managing the Financial Intermediary Group and the Manufacturing Technology Division. His extensive and accomplished career culminated in becoming a Certified Lease Professional (CLP, now known as CLFP) and Executive Vice President of D&H Enterprises, Inc., a consulting, training, and expert witness company for the equipment leasing and financing industry.

Howard had many years of involvement in soccer as a semi-pro and professional player, including playing for the Germania team in the Greater Los Angeles Soccer League. Later, he was recruited into the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) where he served as Regional Commissioner, Treasurer, and a member of the Board of Directors. His promotion of the "Everyone Plays" philosophy in AYSO soccer still impacts youth soccer players today. Howard went on to become a State, National, and International (FIFA) referee, and was once a referee for the elimination rounds of the Olympic and World Cup games. In 1997 Howard received the honor of being inducted into the AYSO and National Soccer Halls of Fame.

In retirement, Howard enjoyed serving his community on the Hainesport Township Joint Land Use Board and was elected Chairman. He also spent time as a middle school substitute teacher in Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies.

Howard is survived by his loving and devoted wife Dolores "Dee" Krollfeifer (Salerno), daughters Lori Snyder (Michael), Gail Minneci (Philip), June Kruse, and Denise Faustino, nephew Michael Klopher, and grandnephew Kevin Klopher. His love, support, and guidance for his 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren was extraordinary. Howard kept in touch regularly with many close friends, colleagues, siblings-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He loved sailing and traveling; specifically, vacationing on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina with family.
