The Gazelle ( Thomas J. Depping) is rumored to be interested in starting or buying a bank.  At Sierra Cities, before the major change, an application was in process, but due to the acquisition talks with American Express along with some other issues, was put aside. It was his long term goal to not only go into banking, but expand products through a banking network.  It would also give him “creditability” with other banks for “sharing” or “selling” portfolio's, loans, leases, insurance, and other products.
